Susan Calman plans unique twist for next Strictly Come Dancing performance

Susan Calman is planning something different for her next Strictly Come Dancing 2017 routine.

This weekend is movies week and Radio and TV presenter Susan will be dancing a Samba.

She and pro partner Kevin Clifton will be performing to the Wonder Woman Theme Song from Wonder Woman.

“So next week on Strictly I’m doing the Samba dressed as Wonder Woman. You’re all very welcome,” Susan tweeted fans earlier this week.

From training yesterday, Susan revealed that in the couple’s next routine she would take on the ‘male’ role.

“So @kevinclifton has choreographed a fab Samba routine,” Susan posted to Twitter, “I lead and spin him for a change. Well, Wonder Woman would take charge wouldn’t she.”

The comic then quipped: “Off to B & Q to buy some rope. I need to practice lassoing @keviclifton. Strictly really is a dream come true.”

Strictly is back on Saturday with other movie themed routines based on films as diverse as Toy Story and James Bond.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will host as always as the fabulous 14 couples get ready for their close-ups as they perform routines inspired by some of the greatest films of all time (and hope to impress the judges, Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood).

After the first two weeks, the leaderboard has been reset and everyone is starting on a blank page.

The judges will score each of the Movie week performances out of ten before the vote lines open at the end of the show, and viewers at home can have their say and vote for their favourite couple.

Sadly another couple will have to leave the competition on Sunday night’s Results Show – and no-one wants their Strictly experience to end.

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 continues this Saturday at 6:35PM on BBC One.

The results air again on Sunday at 7:15PM.
