Susan recently returned to to Got Talent after entering America’s Got Talent: The Champions, an ‘all-stars’ edition of the US version, featuring some of the format’s most successful acts from around the globe.
And earlier this year, the Scottish star took to the stage at the London Palladium during auditions for the latest series of Britain’s Got Talent.
In a performance which played out in in April (Saturday, April 13), she again sang Les Misérables classic ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, mirroring her own try-out from 2009.
Afterwards, show boss Simon Cowell jokingly repeated his original feedback from ten years ago.
“I knew the minute you walked on stage we were going to hear something extraordinary,” he smirked.
On a more serious note, Simon then thanked her for helping make Britain’s Got Talent a success.
“I want to say something to you, as a friend,” he said. “Without you I do not believe we would be sitting here today. You define this show.
“You gave us the most amazing memory and it tells us why we make this show – because of people like you.”
The current series of Britain’s Got Talent concludes live tonight with the grand finale, which will see a live performance from Susan Boyle and Michael Ball.
Alongside Simon, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams make up this year’s panel.
Meanwhile, there are rumours Britain’s Got Talent may get its own all star series later this year.
