Strictly’s Karen Clifton reportedly faces the axe from the show’s pro line up next year.
It follows a rumoured split from partner and fellow pro dancer Kevin Clifton.
The two Strictly Come Dancing professional dancers married in 2015, but there are rumours the pair are ‘barely talking’.
Apparently, their split could lead to one of the duo leaving the show and it’s supposedly ‘obvious’ which of them it would be.
“Kevin is the most likeable dancer on the show and a brilliant choreographer,” a source told The Sun newspaper. “Everybody loves him.
“He’s going nowhere.”
A spokesperson for the BBC said: “This is speculation only and no decisions have been made about the next series.”
Karen this week spoke out about the rumours, saying: “We’re a regular couple, we’ve been together for seven years, and like any other relationship, you have ups and downs.
“We just need to keep pushing. Relationships take work. It’s not as easy as you think, especially being in a job like Strictly.
“We’re not a superhuman couple, we’re normal, so when things happen, we fight.”
Last weekend, Kevin seemed to make a public apology to Karen as he said on the show: “When Strictly is on I’m not the easiest person to live with.
“I go a bit mad so I’d like to say first of all thanks to my wife for putting up with me.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday and Sunday nights on BBC One.
Both Kevin and Karen are out of the main competition but continue to perform in the group dances.
