Strictly Come Dancing’s Alexandra Burke dismisses ‘love triangle’ rumours

Alexandra Burke has rubbished claims of a ‘love triangle’ on Strictly Come Dancing.

There were rumours last week of relationship drama behind the scenes, although not quite what you’d expect.

According to tabloid reports, Gemma Atkinson has been getting close to Gorka Marquez – and his celeb partner Alexandra apparently wasn’t happy.

Gemma is partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec but it was Gorka – paired up with Alexandra – who she had been supposedly getting flirty with.

“Gorka and Gemma are together. It’s the talk of the make-up room,” an insider alleged to The Sun newspaper. “Not surprisingly, Alexandra is furious about how it might impact her chances of winning. She’s very ambitious and is nervous about it all.”

As for Gorka and Gemma, the insider added: “At this point she wouldn’t describe him as her boyfriend because they haven’t spent enough time together as they’re both focused on rehearsing.”

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine today, Alexandra laughed off the rumours.

“I don’t know where he has got time to have anything going on!” the singer said, revealing how she and Gorka have been training for up to 10 hours a DAY.

Alexandra continued: “My concentration is making sure Gorka and I are in tune with each other. We are having so much fun at the moment. We won’t let anything get in the way.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 continues Saturday and Sunday nights on BBC One.
