Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor 2017 will clash again this weekend.
And this time the shows will overlap on both Saturday and Sunday.
Strictly will continue its live shows on Saturday, September 30 at 6:45PM on BBC One.
The second show runs for over two hours, finishing at 8:50PM.
The X Factor meanwhile airs on ITV from 8PM, running to 9:30PM with what will be its first half of bootcamp.
Then on Sunday, Strictly will air its opening results show.
The pre-recorded programme will see the first results show as the two celebs in the bottom two go head to head to stay in the competition. Strictly will air between 7:15PM and 8PM on Sunday, October 1.
The X Factor will also be airing as usual on the Sunday, but starting at the earlier time of 7:30PM for its second half of bootcamp running to 9PM.
Strictly and X Factor went head to head last Saturday and there was a clear winner.
Ratings for Saturday’s episode of The X Factor dropped to 4.8 million viewers, the lowest rating ever based on overnight figures. The show clashed with Strictly Come Dancing’s first live episode, which was watched by over 9 million viewers and peaked with more than 10 million.
But on Sunday – when there was no Strictly – numbers for the ITV singing contest bounced right back with an average audience of 6.2 million viewers between 8PM and 9PM for the final round of auditions.
