Strictly Come Dancing 2021 professionals line up revealed – who’s left and who’s new

Strictly Come Dancing 2021 has revealed its professional dancers for this year’s upcoming series.

Strictly will be back this autumn to once again bring sequins, sparkle and sensational dancing to the nation.

The professionals returning to the show will be Aljaž Škorjanec, Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez, Graziano Di Prima all on the line up.

They’ll join Johannes Radebe, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones and Oti Mabuse.

This year show will introduce four new professionals – Dancing With The Stars Ireland pro Kai Widdrington; former Let’s Dance Germany’s Nikita Kuzmin; reigning African Latin Champion Cameron Lombard; and The Greatest Dancer champion Jowita Przystal.

Meanwhile two familiar faces will no longer be a part of the professional line up – but still appear on the show.

Anton Du Beke will switch his role as a pro dancer for a judge as he takes over from Bruno Tonioli. Bruno is unable to take part in 2021’s show due to ongoing travel and quarantine restrictions due to the pandemic.

Meanwhile Janette Manrara will be the new co-host of spin-off show It Takes Two alongside Rylan. Previous presenter Zoe Ball stepped down earlier this year after a decade fronting the BBC Two series.

Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios, said: “We are so thrilled to be welcoming back our incredible line-up of professional dancers for 2021.

“Their passion and dedication for Strictly shone through more than ever last year as they all sacrificed so much to deliver an unforgettable series during unprecedented and challenging times.

“With so much talent returning to the ballroom, the 2021 series promises more show-stopping choreography, memorable performances and world class dancing.”

Further announcements and information, including which dancers will be partnered with celebrity contestants, will be announced in due course. Celebs on the 2021 series are to be revealed.
