Another celebrity left Strictly Come Dancing 2019 in tonight’s results but who was eliminated?
This weekend the four couples dance once more to impress the viewers at home as well as judges Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.
Saturday night saw all celebs and their pro partners performing twice for the first time this series.
In Sunday night’s results, the total marks from the judges for the latest dances were combined with the results of the viewer vote.
Who left Strictly Come Dancing 2019 this week?
Those in the bottom were Chris Ramsey and his professional partner Karen Hauer and Karim Zeroual and his professional partner Amy Dowden.
It was the second time in the dance off for both and it was Chris Ramsey who left Strictly Come Dancing 2019 this week.
In the dance off on Sunday, both couples performed one of their two routines again.
Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer performed their Rumba to Don’t Watch Me Cry by Jorja Smith and Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden performed their American Smooth to Sweet Caroline in a bid to impress the judges and make it to the Grand Final next week.
The judges then chose who to save and it was a unanimous decision.
Strictly Come Dancing 2019 results
Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Karim and Amy: “Well I loved the story telling, particularly in both dances and I’m going to vote on the technique and for me technically the best couple were Karim and Amy.”
Motsi Mabuse also chose to save Karim and Amy: “Well the first time I saw this dance I thought it was brilliant but the second time I thought it was even better, so I am going to save Karim and Amy.”
Bruno Tonioli also chose to save Karim and Amy: “With no disrespect, both were highly entertaining. I love you both, thank you for three months of great dancing and great entertainment. I have to choose the best dancer – Karim.”
Although her casting vote was not needed, Head Judge Shirley Ballas said that she would also have chosen to save Karim and Amy.
Speaking after his exit, Chris said: “Wow, I am very proud of myself. I never ever thought I would make it past week two, genuinely I had no expectations whatsoever, I am astounded and I’ve got to thank Karen, she is just amazing and is just amazing and so patient its crazy! She is awesome. I had sleepless nights in the build up and there is no-one else who can have made it what it has been.”
When asked about Chris, Karen said: “This has been a giggle fest. Thank you judges for being so amazing to us. You are an amazing family man who I admire and you are awesome and I appreciated you literally from week one, not knowing how to walk, and now you are a semi finalist and you have made all of us proud and have inspired all of us and I want to thank you for being awesome.”
Chris and Karen will appear live on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two on the sofa with Rylan Clark-Neal for their first interview live on Monday 9th December from 6.30pm on BBC Two.
Meanwhile, the remaining three couples will take to the dancefloor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns for the Grand Final on Saturday 14 December on BBC One.
