Strictly Come Dancing 2018 results! Who left? Latest celebrity voted off

This week's Strictly Come Dancing 2018 results

Another celebrity has left Strictly Come Dancing 2018 in tonight’s results but who was eliminated?

This weekend the seven remaining couples danced twice to impress the viewers at home as well as judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

The panel marked all the routines as usual before Strictly’s first ever Lindy-Hop-A-Thon took place.

The new challenge saw up to seven extra points awarded to the celebs, before lines opened for the viewers to vote for their favourite.

In last Sunday night’s results, the total marks from the judges for the latest dances and Lindy-Hop-A-Thon were added together and combined with the results of the viewer vote.

Who left Strictly Come Dancing 2018 this week?

Those in the bottom were Graeme Swann and his professional partner Oti Mabuse and Ashley Roberts and her professional partner Pasha Kovalev.

It was the first time in the dance off for Ashley but the fourth for Graeme and his last as it was Graeme Swann who left Strictly Come Dancing 2018 this week.

In the dance off tonight, both couples performed their routines again; Graeme and Oti performed a Quickstep to Sing Sing Sing by The Andrews Sisters, and Ashley and Pasha performed their Samba to Hot Hot Hot by Arrow, in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.

The judges then chose who to save and it was a unanimous decision.

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Ashley and Pasha: “For me it’s a no brainer and the couple I’d like to save, Ashley and Pasha.”

Darcey Bussell chose to save Ashley and Pasha: “The couple I would like to save based on this dance is the more technically efficient performance and that was Ashley and Pasha.”

Bruno Tonioli also chose to save Ashley and Pasha: “No disrespect but it’s evident. Overall much much stronger on every level, come on, it’s Ashley. Ashley and Pasha.”

Head Judge Shirley Ballas said she agreed with her fellow judges and would have saved Ashley and Pasha.

Speaking to host Tess Daly, Graeme said after his exit: “I’d have voted for Ashley and Pasha as well. I can’t quite believe I was put against them to be honest but this whole journey I’ve got to say, before I say gloating things about Oti that I’m obviously going to. This show and what you’ve got is something special and thank you for letting me be a part of it.”

“Secretly I’ve had 25 years of ballroom experience but I kept that to myself! No, I was a novice coming in to this. This woman Oti is, this girl sorry, she’s not old enough to be a woman obviously has just made me fall in love with this whole dance nonsense that I thought it was before.

“I absolutely adore you for that, I’ll never forget everything you taught and shouted at me for weeks and weeks. My fingers will never be open in ballroom and that’s for you Craig, every week, that’s for you. I’ve just had the best of times I’ve had the worst of times, it’s been very hard missing the kids and the wife.

“Blackpool I will never forget, this whole experience I will never forget and Oti I will never forget you, you absolute hero. To be honest let’s face it when you get down to the nitty gritty of this competition, I was on borrowed time, unless I learnt to fly or something I wasn’t going to past here.”

The remaining six couples will return to the dancefloor once more next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on BBC One with the Quarter Finals.https://tellymix.co.uk/wp-admin/post.php?post=384623&action=edit#wpseo-meta-section-social
