Strictly Come Dancing 2017 results! Who left? Latest celebrity voted off

This week's Strictly Come Dancing 2017 results

Another celebrity left Strictly Come Dancing 2017 in last night’s results but who was eliminated?

This weekend the five couples dance once more to impress the viewers at home as well as judges Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

Saturday night saw all celebs and their pro partners performing twice for the first time this series.

In last night’s results, the total marks from the judges for the latest dances were combined with the results of the viewer vote.

Who left Strictly Come Dancing 2017 this week?

Those in the bottom were popstar Mollie King and her partner AJ Pritchard; and actress Gemma Atkinson and her professional partner Aljaž Škorjanec.

It was the third time in the dance off for Mollie and it was the last as it was Mollie King who left Strictly Come Dancing 2017 this week.

In the dance off on Sunday, both couples performed one of their two routines again.

Gemma and Aljaz did their Tango to My Sharona by The Knack; and Mollie and AJ performed their Waltz to Angel by Sarah McLaughlin in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.

The judges then chose who to save and it was a unanimous decision.

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Gemma and Aljaž: “Both couples neck and neck, both couples ballroom which is unusual, both couples I think pulled out the stops tonight but for me the couple that had the edge…. Gemma and Aljaž.”

Darcey Bussell chose to save Gemma and Aljaž: “Well both couples made a great great improvement but the couple that was more assured and more confident was Gemma and Aljaž.”

Bruno Tonioli chose to save Gemma and Aljaž: “Well first I want to congratulate you both because you did so well, you improved so much, gave everything you had to this, but I really have to choose the couple that stood out to my eye. I have to choose Gemma and Aljaž.”

Head Judge Shirley Ballas said she agreed with her fellow judges and would have also saved Gemma and Aljaž.

Therefore it was Mollie and AJ who bowed out of the competition.

Speaking after her exit, Mollie said: “Firstly congratulations to Gemma and Aljaž because they danced their socks off and totally deserved to be there and congratulations to all the finalists.

“They’re so incredible and good luck, I can’t wait to watch you all, so go out there and get it! I have so many thank you’s.

“Thank you to everyone who has voted us through to the semi-finals, it’s so far beyond what we ever thought that would happen; I’m so so grateful for that.

“Thank you to all the professionals, you have been so much fun and so encouraging. Thank you to the judges, you have just been unbelievable and I will forever remember everything that you said and I will take it on board when I’m dancing at home or wherever I’m dancing.

“And to Tess, Claudia and Zoe, you have been amazing, you have been so so just lovely and above all, AJ, you have been just incredible and you have been my hero for the last couple of months so thank you so much. I couldn’t have done any of it without you.”

The remaining four couples will return for the last time when Strictly Come Dancing is back next week for the Grand Final. Each couple will perform three dances and Tess and Claudia will announce which couple will be crowned Strictly Come Dancing champions 2017.
