Strictly Come Dancing pro Anton Du Beke has scored a bigger album than X Factor winner Matt Terry.
Both Matt and Anton released albums last week and Anton finished ahead in the charts in the latest rundown.
From The Top by Anton is ranked at Number 21 in the overall chart, which combines physical CD sales, downloads and online streams.
Matt’s Trouble finished down at Number 29, giving him the worst debut of any X Factor winner to date.
In fact, Matt is the first X Factor winner to miss the Top 10 completely with his debut album, although 2015 champ Louisa Johnson has yet to drop her record.
It follows Matt NOT signing to Simon Cowell’s record label despite winning the show. He instead signed to RCA, who boast the likes of Olly Murs and Beyonce on their books.
“Each label suits an artist differently,” Matt said previously of the unusual move for an X Factor winner. “We just felt RCA would suit me better as they have put amazing people out there such as Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and Olly Murs.”
Matt continued: “However, Simon said if I ever needed him, I could speak to him.
“He’s a lovely guy.
“Simon gave me this amazing opportunity so I’ll always be grateful to him.”
Meanwhile, 2011 X Factor winners Little Mix have good reason to celebrate.
Their album Glory Days is currently at Number 3 in the charts, having previously spent five weeks on the top spot last year.
A re-release of the record, which features a number of new songs, finsihed behind High Flying Birds according to the Official Chart Update.
