This weekend, the remaining celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing hit the dance floor at Blackpool’s legendary Tower Ballroom.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are set to welcome the remaining eight contestants for a night filled with glitter, glamour, and some fierce competition.

Everyone knows that making it to Blackpool is a Strictly milestone, but only eight dancers will survive this week’s elimination.

While the judges’ scores play a huge role, the public vote will once again be a crucial factor in deciding who moves forward.

The favourite to be heading home is Wynne Evans who was saved by the judges in last week’s dance-off.

This week, he and pro partner Katya Jones perform a Charleston to Carmen Suite No.1: 5.Les toréadors by Georges Bizet – a performance that could either be their redemption or their final bow.

Also at risk are Pete Wicks and Jamie Borthwick.

Still, Strictly fans know the competition is always full of twists, and we could see a surprise turnaround.

On the other end of the competition, Chris McCausland continues to dazzle with his charm, humour, and dance skills.

Paired with pro Dianne Buswell, Chris has quickly become a fan favourite and is now considered the front-runner for this year’s glitterball trophy.

This week, he’ll perform an American Smooth to Jump by Paul Anka.

Also making a strong showing this season are Tasha Ghouri and Sarah Hadland.

Both dancers have shown tremendous improvement and grace under pressure, but they’ll need to keep raising the bar to close in on Chris’s lead.

With everything on the line, this weekend’s performances at Blackpool could completely shift the leaderboard.

Will Wynne defy the odds and survive another week?

Strictly Come Dancing airs live on Saturday with the latest results following on Sunday night.
