Michelle Connor is set to become Pat Phelan's next victim on Coronation Street.
Serial murderer Pat has already killed off four of the Street's characters and another is in danger.
Michelle Connor, played by Kym Marsh, will be shot by Pat in shocking scenes to air after 9PM later this year.
Currently presumed dead after episodes at Easter, Pat - played by Connor McIntyre - will make his return during Michelle and Robert Preston's (Tristan Gemmill) wedding.
A source told The Sun newspaper today: "The scenes were shot last week and are more like a horror film than a soap."
The insider spilled how Michelle will be left injured when Pat crashes her big day.
"In all the carnage, she will end up being shot with Robert trying desperately to save her life before she bleeds out," the source teased. “Inevitably, the other guests will be involved in the madness too in the aftermath of him shooting her."
The source added that the "gruesome" scenes will air after 9PM in order to comply with TV watchdog Ofcom's rules.
Killer Pat was previously seen falling to his 'death' during episodes last month. He was pushed off a cliff by wife Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver).
However it was later revealed that Pat had survived the fall and was planning his return to Weatherfield.
Meanwhile, Eileen found herself accused of murdering Pat’s victims.
As well as his murderous rampage, Pat was also behind Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) being sent to jail after framing her for his crimes.
