Snakes cause havoc in the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp

Snakes have been playing havoc in the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp.

And the show hasn’t even started yet.

A large 5ft python had to be removed by the show’s team this week as they prepare the bush for this year’s celebrities.

Apparently the current Aussie weather could result in the latest line up of stars having some extra visitors throughout their stay.

A source explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “The unseasonably cold weather has brought the snakes out as they try and find somewhere warm. This will be an ongoing problem this year, which is not good news for the celebrities.

“Medic Bob and the team will have to be on the lookout for anything dangerous as a snakebite can easily prove fatal if not treated quickly.”

Ahead of Sunday’s launch, the first celebrities have also touched down in Australia.

First to arrive at Brisbane Airport last week was YouTuber Jack Maynard, who was soon joined by former Chelsea and England footballer Dennis Wise.

Also seen arriving have been Hollyoaks hunk Jamie Lomas, who recently left his role on the Channel 4 soap, and Made In Chelsea’s Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo.

Next to set down in Australia was The Saturdays’ singer Vanessa White, then boxer Amir Khan and most recently Coronation Street actress Jennie McAlpine.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here launches on November 19 on ITV with hosts Ant and Dec.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Moffatt, Joe Swash and Joel Dommett will host a new look Extra Camp spin-off on ITV2, airing each night straight after the main show.
