Sean Smith from Same Difference is, as the tabloids would say, ‘all grown up’.
Sean and his younger sister Sarah made up Same Difference who got through to the final of The X Factor back in 2007.
After being mentored by Simon Cowell the pair were signed by his label and went on to release a number of albums,
But alas, the duo called it a day and split (as Same Difference, they’re still siblings obvs) at the end of 2014.
And now Sean is looking very different.
He shared a new picture of him on Instagram this week, topless on the beach.
And Sean has also been reflecting on his X Factor history.
Posting a snap of himself and sister Sarah last month, he wrote: “Happy Birthday to “The Rest Is History” Album which was released on this day 7 years ago ?
“Which is your favourite track on the album? #SameDifference #Throwback #XfactorUK #Xfactor,” he asked his 51,000 followers.
Blonde and buff, Sean last year appeared on ITV’s Loose Women for a catch up.
“I was almost asexual when I was Sean from Same Difference and now I feel like I can just be myself and we can talk about all these things,” said Sean of his days on The X Factor with sister Sarah.
He added: “I went in there thinking I’d be Robbie Williams and I came out H from Steps.”
And a decade on from his performances on the show, Sean admitted the act was all a bit… weird.
“You’re absolutely right, a lot of people who were watching felt that [we were too close], and I don’t blame them at all,” he told the Loose Women panel.
As well as talking all things X Factor, Sean was on the show to also plug his then new solo single Magic.
He’s since released follow up single Fire after signing to Energise records.
