Scarlett Moffatt says she hopes to launch a US hosting career following Saturday Night Takeaway.
Scarlett has revealed she hopes to “to do a James Corden” after helping out Ant and Dec on the ITV series.
Chatting ahead of Takeway’s live final from Florida, Scarlett said: “I would love to do something over here. I think it’s really fun and everyone’s really friendly. The only problem is I’m super sarcastic and I don’t know if my sarcasm would go down well.
“And my accent! There’s always elocution lessons! Just start talking posh all of a sudden.
“But yes I would love that – to do a James Corden.”
Speaking from Orlando, Scarlett said of her time on this year’s series of Takeaway: “I get goosebumps every time we do Saturday Night Takeaway really because it’s such an amazing show, it’s one of a kind and there really is nothing else like it.
“It’s so fun and every week is so different. On the first show, dancing with Kylie Minogue – that was unreal. Meeting her was definitely a tick on the bucket list. Then dancing on the spinning box with Paloma Faith.
“Being here at Universal Orlando Resort is really fun – we’ve got Minions, Transformers, all of the characters.”
And Scarlett is already making big plans for next year’s series.
Asked what she’s like to see on the show in future, Scarlett suggested: “An actual wedding would be nice. Let’s make that a segment.”
Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway comes live from Universal Orlando Resort on Saturday 7th April at 7pm on ITV
