Rylan Clark-Neal has explained how he’s sharing hosting duties with Zoe Ball on Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two.
Zoe had been the sole face of the ballroom extravaganza’s BBC Two weekday companion since taking over from Claudia Winkleman in 2013.
However, this year she has a new co-presenter in Rylan – formerly of Big Brother sister show Bit On The Side.
After the announcement was made back in April, fans had been waiting to find out exactly how the new two-host line-up would work.
Rylan finally spilled the beans on ITV’s This Morning today, revealing that he and Zoe will appear together one day per week.
“I might as well just say, I’m going to be doing Mondays and Tuesdays,” he confirmed.
“Zoe’s doing Wednesdays and Thursdays, and we’re both doing Fridays, which is fantastic.”
He said Zoe chose to cut down on It Takes Two after replacing Chris Evans on the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show in January.
“Me and Zoe are sort of sharing duties, she’s doing the breakfast show now on Radio 2,” he continued.
“She just wanted to take a little bit of a step back. It’s a lot of work doing early mornings and nights as well.”
Rylan’s first day on Strictly came earlier this week, during filming of its launch episode.
“We did the launch on Monday, the red carpet. Obviously you’ll see it all next Saturday,” he added.
“It’s glitter, it really, really is. I had to wear a tux and everything!”
Rylan has a good working relationship with Zoe, taking over her old radio slot on Saturday afternoons. He recently told how he sought her blessing before accepting both jobs.
The former X Factor star is also currently fronting a revival of Supermarket Sweep, which begins on ITV2 in September.
