34-year-old full-time mum from Middlesex Tracy Leanne Jefford previously auditioned for The X Factor back in 2006 where she made bootcamp.

“I was on X Factor in 2006 and I made Simon’s bootcamp. I was a different person then,” she told the judges tonight. “I’ve lost five and a half stone in weight, I never had no confidence.”

Sharon Osbourne encouraged: “You’re gorgeous!”

Tracy went on to revealed: “I’ve just gone through a divorce, I was married for 17 years and to tell you the truth I never felt beautiful in myself, I felt ugly.

“I am from the travelling community where people get married a lot younger. I got married at 17. We had 3 beautiful babies so I spent a lot of time bringing up my children, looking after my family.”

In 2006, Simon Cowell told Tracy: “You’re like a good car whose steering has just gone out of control.”

“Back then I don’t think I was ready,” she reflected. “I’m doing this for my kids, if this goes well it’ll change mine and my children’s lives for the best. It really will.”

Tracy performed The Shirelles’ Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow in her bid to make the next stage, getting herself four yeses.

Tonight on ITV at 8:15PM, Tracy performs at the bootcamp stages in a bid to make the six chair challenge.

“I’m just going to give it my all and do the bet I can,” she says on stage.

After singing The Ronettes’ Be My Baby, Tracy has a nervous wait as the judges deliberate.

“That was the best song choice for her,” Nicole Scherzinger says.
