X Factor stars Little Mix have revealed how they almost blew all their cash on flash houses and holidays.
The 2011 winners of the show confessed that coming into money after the series almost ended very badly for them.
Perrie Edwards admitted: “We were really bad with money at first.
“When you get famous really quickly, you get given a bit of money off the label and you think ‘I am really rich’ and then you spend it all on a holiday and before you know it – you have got nothing left.”
The girls spoke about renting out posh houses in London with Leigh Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson enjoying a "sick penthouse" in the capital.
"Jesy and I had this sick penthouse – it was like a bachelor’s pad," Leigh-Anne recalled to The Sun newspaper.
Jade Thirwall and Perrie meanwhile lived together in Notting Hill and explained: “It was very expensive at the time – we didn’t realise as we had just moved to London and we thought Notting Hill was a famous area so we just moved there.
“We lived there and then had to move as it was too expensive.”
However five years on, the girls say they're now well under control of their finances.
"We do look after ourselves now and we have grown up a lot," Leigh-Anne said.
