It's the interview stages on The Apprentice 2017 tonight and candidates crumble in the pressure.
The final five candidates are summoned to the City to meet with Lord Sugar and his trusted business advisors, ready to be put through their paces in the toughest of interviews.
Back are business heavyweights Claude Littner, Claudine Collins, Linda Plant and Mike Soutar.
They return to grill the candidates on their business plans, CV’s and suitability for investment from Lord Sugar.
There are tears, tantrums and turmoil as confidence crumbles, egos are eradicated and business plans are pulverised as the candidate attempt to prove their worth in the fight of their lives.
Mike Soutar questions Sarah’s notion that her existing business sells a 'unique' product, by presenting her with a selection of almost identical products from competitor businesses.
Elizabeth and Linda Plant clash in their interview, leading to Linda describing Elizabeth as ‘exceptionally aggressive’.
Elizabeth responds: “Would you like me to go out and restart because it just appears that the tone here is getting a little bit confrontational?”
Mike Soutar starts by telling James he’s impressed that he’s listed APSCo, the trade body for the recruitment business, before revealing that he’s checked and James isn’t registered.
He then gets to the bottom of James’ description of ‘leaving a previous company’: “Did they sack you?”
"Yes, they did," replies James.
And Joanna gets emotional in her interview with Claudine Collins in response to yet more accusations regarding her confrontational nature throughout the process.
Meanwhile, Claude Littner rips apart Joanna’s business plan: "You don’t know how much you don’t know, because you don’t know"
In then to the boardroom for the final five.
There, it’s Lord Sugar’s time to put them through their paces as he decides which two candidates have got what it takes to be in next week’s final.
For three candidates it’s the end of the road as they hear the words - “YOU’RE FIRED!”
Join host Rhod Gilbert on You’re Fired! BBC Two at 10pm alongside guests Comedian - Hugh Dennis, Television Personality - June Sarpong MBE and Mike Soutar - Confidante to Lord Sugar for a fresh and unique take on the highlights of The Apprentice as well as the first exclusive interviews with the fired candidates.
