Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams expecting their first child

Spencer Matthews is expecting his first child with girlfriend Vogue Williams.

Spencer met Vogue when the pair were competing on Channel 4’s The Jump and they got engaged earlier this year.

Now the couple have announced they’re expecting their first child together.

“So… I’m going to be a father! Couldn’t be happier to be sharing these times with the love of my life. We feel truly blessed ❤️” Spencer posted online over the weekend.

Vogue added: “I couldn’t be more delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby! Being with you @SpencerMatthews is the best thing that has ever happened to me, you are the dream”

Spencer explained in an announcement in Hello! magazine: “We were more taken aback by how quickly it had worked, as opposed to the fact we’re ­having a kid. Because we had already begun to try.

“So I just considered myself the luckiest man in the world when we got the baby news.”

Vogue told the magazine, out now: “We were together when we did the test, on holiday in the South of France over Christmas, and we were just like, ‘Wow’.

“Regardless of how long you plan it for or how long you’ve wanted it, it’s still like, ‘Oh my God!’ It’s such exciting news.”

Spencer proposed to Vogue – who is four months pregnant – in February at a performance of The Lion King at London’s Lyceum Theatre.

He said at the time: “I’ve known Vogue was “The One” for a long time. We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.’

“The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit.

“The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”
