JP will leave the E4 series to focus on being a dad to daughter India with Binky Felstead.

“We are two very blessed individuals to have been asked to go on that show,” JP said this week. “Binks did five or six years. I was on it for three years. It’s ultimately got Binky and I to the position we’re in right now.”

He told The Sun: “I think we’ll be eternally grateful for it but I think it like anything in life as you grow older you start to look for new opportunities.

“When you’ve got young kids coming into the mix and it’s not about partying and who fancies who.”

JP added: “I think it’s a natural thing, we’re parents now I think the biggest priority in our life is our daughter.”

Although he wouldn’t rule out a cameo, JP insisted: “Personally I would not go back on that show permanently.”

JP’s departure follows Binky who left the show earlier this year before giving birth to India in the summer.

She told her fans on Instagram at the time:“Looking back to the shows very first episode & my very first scene I filmed with Ollie & Cheska it’s amazing & seems fitting I could end my time on the show with them as you will see tonight. Thank you for the amazing amount of support and love – what an incredible experience, couldn’t be prouder of this show & how far it’s come!”

Binky continued: “It’s been my second family and I will deffo be back to do the odd bits and bobs on it I’m sure in the future, but now I feel my time has come to a natural end seeing as the next big (grown up) chapter of my life is about to begin!
