The Great British Bake Off 2019 continues tonight with a Bake Off classic: It's Dessert Week!
Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood are once again back to judges The Great British Bake Off which is airing Tuesday nights at 8PM on Channel 4.
As usual, Prue and Paul will be joined by GBBO hosts Sandi Toksvig OBE and Noel Fielding in the tent.
The 2019 season introduced 13 of the best amateur bakers in Britain to the show, going on a journey to whisk, knead, ice, beat and bake their way through classic British cakes, perfect patisserie, Danish delights, sticky caramel constructions and elaborate layered puddings.
In order to take the Bake Off Crown, they must master 30 challenges carefully designed by judges Paul and Prue to test their limits.
Last week's episode saw Steph Blackwell crowned star baker in a week themed on the roaring twenties.
But a shock double exit saw both Helena Garcia and Michelle Evans-Fecci were eliminated after failing to impress Prue and Paul.
Tonight, it's week six and the remaining seven bakers face three new challenges with Prue and Paul looking for the bakers to produce the perfect finale to any meal.
For the Signature challenge the layers stack up in an elegant and challenging bake.
Then, there's a Technical where success lies in delicate assembly and precise decoration before the Showstopper asks for a spherical celebration cake.
It's past the half-way point in the competition, with the remaining bakers starting to believe that they could maybe win.
But one of them will leave the Bake Off tent by the end of the show.
Watch all the action from the tent and see who leaves when the Great British Bake Off 2019 airs tonight (October 1) at 8PM on Channel 4.
Meanwhile, The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice returns with Jo Brand, airing on Friday nights on Channel 4.
