Another new girl is heading into the Love Island 2022 villa – meet new girl Antigoni Buxton!

Antigoni is set to make her entrance into the villa this week after being teased at the end of last night’s (21 June) show.

In a preview of the next episode, the singer-songwriter was seen surprising the current Islanders as they woke up to find her laying on a sun lounger in the garden.

Ahead of entering the villa, the 26-year-old from London said: “I’ve been single for almost a year and a half and for the whole of the last year my goal has been to have as many different experiences as possible.

“I really just want to say ‘yes’ to things. Why not? It’ll be fun. I’m a Cypriot girl and I love being in the sun. I’ve got nothing to lose!”

Antigoni’s entrance follows the exit of two Islanders in a double dumping in Tuesday night’s episode.

On Sunday night viewers had the chance to vote for their favourite individual Islanders after the latest recoupling.

In Monday evening’s episode, as night fell the Islanders received a text asking them to gather around the fire pit.

It was then revealed the public had been voting for their favourite girl and boy in the Villa and those with the fewest votes would be dumped from the island.

In Tuesday’s show it was Ikenna and Amber who left Love Island after Jay, Andrew, Tasha and Ekin-Su all found themselves ranked as the least popular Islanders with the public.

Elsewhere in the latest episode, there was a game of dares while Jacques and Paige got to spend the night in the hideaway.

Meanwhile, Danica got to know Davide while Dami and Indiyah spoke about love as they grew closer.
