Love Island 2018 results prompt Ofcom complaints after the final

Some Love Island 2018 fans have been left rather unhappy by the final results.

It was Jack and Dani who won love Island 2018 on Monday night with over 80% of the vote.

Rivals Laura & Paul were runners up, Josh & Kaz finished in third and Wes & Megan ended the series in 4th place.

Although it seems most can’t argue with Jack & Dani taking the title, the other results have caused a stir.

Some people have been unimpressed with Laura & Paul finishing in second place (not that it means much) because they weren’t in an official couple.

A few fans of the show have been left so ‘outraged’ that they’ve even gone to the bother of writing to TV watchdog Ofcom.

A spokesperson for Ofcom said they’d be assessing any complaints before deciding whether or not to investigate them further.

Meanwhile, the Love Island voting figures have revealed just how close the final was.

Taking the title with 80% of the vote were Jack & Dani leaving Laura & Paul with just 8%.

6.1% voted for Kaz & Josh while 5.9% gave their vote to Megan & Wes.

Love Island 2018 will be back on Sunday, August 5 from 9PM with this year’s reunion show.

Caroline Flack will be joined by all the islanders from across the series as we get all the gossip from the Isle of Love and find out if love is still blooming outside of the villa.
