Last night was the Strictly 2017 final, but before the result this year’s cast reunited for a special performance.

The whole gang, along with their pro partners, got back together for a mega medley of a group dance.

A total line up of fifteen celebrities started taking part in Strictly 2017 back in September.

They included The Saturdays’ singer Mollie King, EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami and host of ITV’s This Morning and regular Loose Women panellist Ruth Langsford.

Reverend Richard Coles and soap actress Gemma Atkinson joined them on the confirmed cast of Strictly this year.

Also on the official line up for 2017 were TV chef and presenter Simon Rimmer, Holby City actor Joe McFadden, BBC Radio 4 comic Susan Calman and JLS singer Aston Merrygold.

More celebs were comic Brian Conley, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins and Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu.

And rounding off the starting line up were X Factor winner turned West End star Alexandra Burke, Paralympian Jonnie Peacock, and Debbie McGee, TV personality, presenter and the widow of magician Paul Daniels.

Chizzy was the unlucky first celebrity to depart followed by Richard while Charlotte then left. Brian then left while last week Simon went home before Aston was voted off.

Ruth then left before Jonnie was the unlucky celeb to go in the Blackpool special. Susan was next to bow out before Davood left and Mollie departed last weekend.

They left Gemma, Alexandra, Joe and Debbie for the final.

And it was Joe who won Strictly Come Dancing 2017 in the results show, where viewers had all the power.

Elsewhere, the Strictly final saw a guest musical performance from Ed Sheeran.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One in the new year.
