RATINGS! MasterChef final, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and more viewing figures

The MasterChef 2018 final was watched by over 5 million viewers last night (Friday, April 13).

An average audience of 5.2 million tuned in for the series final on BBC One, up 1.3 million viewers on last week’s episode.

The finale peaked with 6.2 million watching as the winner was crowned.

However it was Coronation Street which was the most watched show in last night’s TV ratings.

An average audience of 6.4 million tuned in for the first instalment before 6.3 million returned for the second, in line with last Friday’s numbers.

Emmerdale did 5.6 million earlier on ITV while EastEnders had a solid 5 million on BBC One.

Also on BBC One, the second series of music show Sounds Like Friday Night continued along with 1.7 million viewers, matching last week’s opening figure.

After MasterChef, Have I Got News For You continued its new series with 4.5 million, up 300,000 viewers on last Friday.
