Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple, who were partnered together on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, revealed the news today on social media.
Countdown presenter Rachel shared a not-so-cryptic photo of herself in front of the show’s famous letterboard with an anagram of the word ‘MATERNITY’.
“Pash and I have a conundrum for you…you have till December to work it out!” Rachel captioned the snap.
She added: “We’re over the moon excited.”
Having been coupled up on Strictly, Pasha and Rachel went public with their relationship in 2014.
Paying tribute to his partner recently, Pasha said: “Rachel is incredible. She is the most beautiful woman in the world. Nothing could come between with what we have.”
Dancer Pasha announced earlier this year that he would not be returning to Strictly Come Dancing this year.
He told fans earlier in 2019: “I’ve had 8 fantastic years, full of wonderful memories, thanks to the incredible partners, professionals and myriad of behind the scenes teams who all work to make Strictly the amazing production that it is.
“The biggest thanks goes to all the members of the public who’ve supported me so much over these years – I look forward to seeing you on the Strictly Pro-Tour this spring, and for many future adventures to come!”
Meanwhile, Pasha and Rachel’s little one isn’t the only Strictly baby on its way this year.
Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez are also expecting their first child with one another.
They appeared in 2017’s series together, although danced with separate professionals.
Gemma performed with pro Aljaž Škorjanec while Gorka was partnered with Gemma’s fellow celebrity contestant Alexandra Burke.
Now their first child is on the way, with Gemma announcing via her social media earlier in 2019: “Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year.
“Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already @gorka_marquez”
Strictly will return to BBC One in the autumn.
