Paloma Faith to replace Jessie J on The Voice Kids for 2020

Paloma Faith will join The Voice Kids on ITV in 2020, it’s been announced.

Paloma will join returning coaches Pixie Lott, Danny Jones and will.i.am in the spinning red chairs as Jessie J bids a fond farewell.

Emma Willis will continue to host the show, which will begin filming in December ahead of airing next year.

Paloma Faith – who was previously a coach on the adult version of The Voice in 2016 – said today: “It’s going to be so much fun working with these young singers, helping them find their voices and be the best they can be.

“From what I’ve seen; although they’re small, their voices are often mighty and can give most adults a run for their money! In short, I’m massively excited to be joining The Voice Kids so bring it on.”

As Jessie departs the show, she said: “I had the most amazing experience with ITV, the crew, the Coaches and of course my team on The Voice Kids this year. I am proud of everything my team achieved. I made unforgettable memories and learnt so much!

“But for now I am going to be focusing on making music, so sadly I am saying goodbye to the show and big red chair this year. Sending so much LOVE to everyone taking part this year. And remember… NERVES ARE GOOD, EMBRACE THEM. ❤”

Returning coach Pixie Lott added: “Getting back to The Voice Kids and being blown away by the incredibly talented singers we meet is one of my favourite times of the year.

“It’s great to be alongside a new Coach too. Paloma is no stranger to the red chair and I have no doubt she’s going to be brilliant. I’m so looking forward to recruiting some talented youngsters to join Team Pixie”

Danny Jones who coached Sam to victory in this year’s series said: “It’s going to be amazing returning to my big red chair as the reigning champion Coach! Last year was brilliant and I was so chuffed that Sam won the competition – c’mon Team Danny!!

“I can’t wait to discover brand new voices this year and it’s great news that Paloma is joining the show alongside will, Pixie and myself. She’ll bring fun as well as that incredible talent. I’m looking forward to sharing the stage with her”

will.i.am added: “These talented young kids with big dreams continue to inspire me and I’m excited to meet the next generation of superstars. I’m looking forward to getting back and putting together the Team Will Class of 2020. It’s great to be reuniting with Paloma Faith this season too – the kids are going to love her!”

The Voice Kids will air on ITV.
