Olly Murs’ mum makes a guest appearance on The Voice UK this weekend.
Newbie Olly joins Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson on this year’s panel, who are on a quest to uncover the best vocal talent that Britain has to offer.
On Saturday’s show, Olly is joined by his mum who enjoys meeting Sir Tom
“That was a kiss on the lips!” reacts Olly as his mum introduces herself to the judges.
“Is he behaving himself?” asks Olly’s mum.
“He’s great” Jennifer replies.
“He’s a really nice kid, you designed him well,” remarks Will.i.am.
Another selection of singing hopefuls will perform on The Voice UK stage this Saturday night.
It’s week 6 of the singing contest this weekend, as the four coaches continue to build up their teams.
Once again, this year’s winner will scoop a life changing record contract with Polydor Records.
As always, the first stage is the blind auditions where the contestants must hold their nerve as they sing to the backs of the coaches.
If any of them like what they hear, they hit their buzzer to spin around and select that artist for their teams of ten.
After the first five weeks, Olly, Will and Sir Tom each have eight acts while Jennifer has been pickier so far, selecting six of her line up.
Meanwhile, alongside the coaches, Emma Willis returns to host proceedings.
Emma will be backstage to preside over the latest action as each vocalist, or singing duo, seeks to claim a place in one of the coaches’ teams at the Blind Auditions.
The Voice UK 2018 airs Saturday night on ITV at the later time of 8:15PM.
