The National Television Awards 2019 are on their way tonight: From the start time to nominations and voting info – here’s all about the NTAs 2019.

Dermot O’Leary will be back to host the awards live in 2019 this evening – here’s all you need to know.

National Television Awards 2019 start time

The 2019 NTA ceremony takes place LIVE tonight from The O2 London on 22nd January.

As always, the awards will air in full live on ITV, starting at 7:30PM and running through until 10PM.

The categories include TV Judge which hails the crucial role of iconic on-screen judges and looks like one of the most closely-fought awards. David Walliams, Simon Cowell, and even Judge Rinder fight over who’s the best TV judge against X Factor newbies Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson.

In the award for best TV Presenter, Ant and Dec once again make the short list having won the title for a record-breaking 17 years. Hoping to FINALLY end their reign are the likes of Bradley Walsh, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Other categories include Quiz Show, New Drama, Talent Show, Drama, Factual Entertainment, Drama Performance, Soap, Comedy and Daytime awards.

Plus, there’s The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award which was first awarded last year. Nominees range from The Graham Norton Show to Take Me Out.

National Television Awards 2019 Voting

The National Television Awards nominations and winners are decided completely by the public.

Voting took place in a series of rounds between October and today, the day of the ceremony itself.

However Voting for the NTAs is now CLOSED. The final round of voting closed at 12PM (noon) on Tuesday, 22rd January 2019..

The final results will be announced at the NTA ceremony tonight, LIVE at the O2 Arena and broadcast on ITV.
