Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has reportedly signed up for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
The singer is said to be entering the jungle this year after talks with ITV bosses.
Sources told The Sun newspaper that producers hope that Nadine will spill gossip about her time in Girls Aloud and her rift with bandmate Cheryl.
“Nadine is a big name and ITV was keen to get her,” an insider claimed. “It’s no secret there’s no love lost between [Nadine and Cheryl], and Nadine is refreshingly honest about what went on from her perspective.
“And I’m a Celebrity could well be the start of something big again for her.”
Girls Aloud were one of reality telly’s first big successes after being put together on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
More than a decade of hits followed before the group finally called it a day in 2013.
Solo careers followed – with varying degrees of success – amid rumours of arguments between the members of the group.
Nadine admitted in a previous interview: “It’s so sad because you want everybody to think we’re best friends and we have pillow fights and, you know, drink milkshakes.
“I really, really wanted that to be, but it just wasn’t how it was. So yeah there was a divide. We’re very, very different characters.”
I’m A Celebrity typically launches on ITV in November.
No names have been confirmed for the line up just yet but some rumoured celebs include a number of former Love Island stars including Olivia Attwood, Maura Higgins and Amy Hart.
Other rumoured names are Capital FM host Roman Kemp, Blue and Hollyoaks star Duncan James and football pundit Ian Wright, who has reportedly been offered a ‘six figure’ deal.
TV personality Ulrika Jonsson has also been rumoured for the show together with Rugby star James Haskell and former England footballer and recent Celebrity Big Brother housemate John Barnes.
And yet more potential celebrity campers include Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe and singer Myles Stephenson of X Factor winning boy group Rak-Su.
