Michelle Heaton ‘in talks to join Dancing On Ice line up’

Michelle Heaton is reportedly in talks to join the Dancing On Ice line up.

The singer and TV personality is rumoured to have had an audition on the ice with producers.

It follows the Liberty X star saying previously she “would love” to take part in the series.

“It is one of those shows that I would love to tick off my bucket list. It would be really wonderful to learn how to do something like that,” she said in 2017. “Lets hope I can pull some strings.”

According to The Sun newspaper, Michelle may well get her wish.

A source shared: “She’s already auditioned on the ice, but it’s not certain if she’ll make the final line up.

“She’s desperate to throw herself into this new challenge and is determined to be a great skater if she’s lucky enough to get the callback.”

Other names rumoured for the new series of Dancing On Ice include TV entertainer Michael Barrymore and Love Island’s Maura Higgins.

Speaking about the rumours, Maura said at last week’s TV Choice awards: “I have heard but I have heard a lot about things I am supposed to be on. Who knows? I’m taking every day as it comes. There are a lot of exciting opportunities there. I can’t comment on anything because I really don’t know.”

Dancing On Ice typically airs from January on ITV.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will return to host the 2020 series with Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill and Ashley Banjo joined by new judge John Barrowman MBE on the panel.

Former Dancing On Ice contestant John Barrowman MBE said: “I am so excited to be returning to the Dancing On Ice family. Unlike most I have been through the rigorous task of skating live as a contestant in the first series.

“This is a thrilling adventure for me and I hope to bring a Fresh, Fun and Fab-u-lous angle to the judging panel.”
