Megan Barton Hanson reveals she’s met someone on Celebs Go Dating

Megan Barton Hanson has revealed she’s dating someone from Celebs Go Dating.

And despite the rumours, it’s NOT her co-star Demi Sims!

Megan is one of the celebs on the line up of series 7 of the E4 show, which started on Monday.

“It’s gone really well,” Megan said today. “I am dating someone from the show. I can’t say who.”

Megan, who identifies as bisexual, added on ITV’s Loose Women: “I’ve dated both men and women during the show.”

She went on to speak about finding it difficult to speak out about her sexuality.

“I think because how I was portrayed on Love Island,” Megan explained. I was the sex symbol of my year. All people would ever talk about is you’ve had sex on national TV with two people. So I was hesitant to say it as I didn’t want it to come across as another sexual thing.

“I’m 25. I just want to find a connection with someone I can go travelling with, have dinners with, enjoy life with. It doesn’t matter if you’re male or female if we have that connection and that bond.

“I’ve had a physical relationship with girls but I’ve never sat down and been on a dinner date. With men I always felt I had the upper hand because of my past. I’m very confident with men.

“With women I went into this mixer. How could I tell if they were gay, straight, bi? I was so confident in Love Island but here I was scared.”

Megan recently spoke out about rumours that she was dating TOWIE Demi Sims, who also appears on the new series of Celebs Go Dating.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We’re good friends, we’ve got to know each other more during this show, we have a little flirt but we’re still dating other people. It’s still early days.”

Demi, who identifies as bisexual like Megam, added: “Well obviously we fancy each other and we like each other but I am here to date other people as well so I’m just seeing where it goes, times will tell.”

Alongside Demi and Megan, names on Celebs Go Dating’s seventh series include former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger, Blue singer Lee Ryan. Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry and Lady Colin Campbell, who’s set to be the show’s oldest ever singleton at the age of 69.

Demi’s sister Chloe Sims is also on the line up having previously appeared on last year’s series where she failed to find love.

Completing the current cast of Celebs Go Dating 2019 is Love Island winner Jack Fincham, who split from girlfriend Dani Dyer earlier this year.
