Megan Barton Hanson planned kids with Wes Nelson before split

Megan Barton Hanson has opened up about her split from Wes Nelson.

Megan and Wes met on last year’s Love Island, making it through to the final.

However they split up earlier in 2019 after just over six months together.

Now appearing on Celebs Go Dating on E4, Megan has opened up about the end of their relationship.

She recalled in last night’s episode: “Cracks started to appear.

“I thought we had this future like he spoke to me about kids and marriage and it came on the radio that he was sexting another Love Island contestant.

“He said they weren’t sexting they were talking about cuddling but I just feel completely stupid and betrayed.”

Megan added: “It’s just embarrassing, like in front of everyone.

“I just wanted to find someone to come out and travel with and live with and make memories with so it’s just a bit s**t.”

Also on Celebs Go Dating this year is Megan’s fellow Love Islander Jack Fincham.

He too opened up about his recent break up, discussing his split from Dani Dyer.

Jack and Dani won last year’s series of Love Island but confirmed they had separated earlier in 2019.

Opening up about what went wrong between the pair, Jack claimed they “rushed” things after leaving the villa.

Talking on last night’s Celebs Go Dating, Jack said: “If we had lived in Love Island forever, we’d have been fine. We rushed it straight away, we moved in together. I did want to [move in with her] but I wish we had waited.

“I let her rush me a little bit. We had a genuine connection in there and I think anyone can see that. Honestly, and I mean this, I wish her all the happiness in the world.”

Celebs Go Dating airs weeknights at 9PM on E4.

Alongside Jack & Megan, names signed up for the new series include former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger and Blue singer Lee Ryan.

Joining them are Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry and Lady Colin Campbell, Chloe Sims, who previously appeared on last year’s series where she failed to find love, and her sister Demi Sims.
