Love Island’s Joe & Lucie reunite as Amy returns home on Aftersun

Joe Garratt and Lucie Donlan reunite on tonight’s Love Island Aftersun while Amy Hart returns home.

In tonight’s episode of the spin-off show, hosted by Caroline Flack on ITV2 from 10PM, we catch up with some of the Islanders who left the villa last week.

After being dumped from the Island on Tuesday, Lucie reunites with former Islander Joe.

The pair were originally coupled up before Joe was dumped from the villa – but will their reunion be a romantic one?

It follows Lucie admitting to having feelings for Tommy Fury before her exit.

Speaking after leaving the villa, Lucie said: “Me and Tommy will always be best friends. I’ve had best friends and then dated them and then still been best friends after. I think a lot of girls think it’s odd but I can turn things on and off really easily.

“You’ll always have a love for a best friend whether it’s a boy or a girl but at times it can mean different things. I want to see how things go with him and Molly-Mae, I can see he really likes her. I’m happy for them.

“I feel like we’ll see what happens on the outside and how those guys will go but never say never, if we did come to that romantic stage in a few years and me and Tommy were still friends, you never know.”

Also on Aftersun tonight, Amy – who left the villa earlier this week – returns home from Love Island for an emotional reunion with her family.

One of this year’s original islanders, Amy decided to withdraw from the show after breaking up with Curtis Pritchard.

Ahead of Aftersun tonight, Amy returned to social media with a message for her fans.

Saying it was a “scary decision” to leave but insisting it was “the right one”, Amy wrote on Instagram: “ITS ONLY ME ITS ONLY AMZ! Wow. Just wow. There’s so many messages and I keep trying to reply but then more come through. Please know that I am so so so grateful for every single message of support that has been sent.”

Despite choosing to leave, Amy added: “I would do it all again tomorrow.

“I left on good terms with everyone and have nothing but amazing things to say about the show, the production team and Curtis…so if you read anything to the contrary, don’t believe it!”

Love Island 2019 continues nightly at 9PM on ITV2.

Aftersun airs Sunday night at 10PM on ITV2.
