Love Island’s Frankie Foster and Samira Mighty reunited on Aftersun spin-off

Frankie Foster and Samira Mighty will appear on Love Island’s Aftersun spin-off show tonight.

It follows Samira exiting the show last week.

She left the villa to be with Frankie, who had been eliminated earlier on in the week.

Now the couple will reunite on Aftersun, airing tonight on ITV2 at 10PM, after the main show at 9PM.

“Samira and Frankie are reunited! Find out how it all went on #LoveIslandAftersun, Sunday 10pm @itv2. You definitely won’t want to miss it… ?” the official Love Island Twitter posted.

Leaving the villa last week, Samira said: “Obviously Frankie is gone and I had a little bit of what I could have and I really liked it. But I don’t feel like I’m going to meet anyone else and have a connection with anyone else.

“You know how hard it is for me to meet someone and actually get a connection with them. Also all my best mates are moving on in here. I want to stay so bad but I can’t be happy in here anymore. I’m going to sleep on it tonight.”

In an emotional goodbye to her foellow Islanders, Samira told the group: “So, these past couple of days I haven’t been myself and I’ve struggled to be happy in here and have fun and I had a taste of what I’ve wanted and it’s gone. I’ve really tried and been tossing and turning about what I’m going to do.

“I think the best thing for me to get closure on the Frankie situation and for me to be happy is to go today. I’m really sad but it’s a good thing. I’m really happy that I’m doing this and I feel really strong. I love all of you so much. You are all so amazing.”

It’s since been revealed that the couple had got close in the hideaway in scenes cut from TV.

“We did, we spent time in the Hideaway,” Frankie confirmed to the Metro newspaper. “We got a text and then the other islanders picked us two, and then everyone was cheering us on as we walked in.”

He didn’t say what happened between them, joking: “I cannot talk about the Do Bits Society, it’s top secret, have you not heard the rules of the DBS?

“Once you get your membership card you are in DBS for life.”

A spokesperson for ITV said: “We don’t necessarily show every moment in the hideaway owing to the constraints of it only being a one hour show.”

Love Island 2018 airs nightly at 9PM on ITV2.
