Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury have landed their own reality show on ITV2.
Titled The Boxer & The Ballroom Dancer, the three-part special will see the pair swap careers.
Professional boxer, Tommy, will be swapping his boxing gloves for dancing shoes as he’ll take to the floor, training with a professional dancer for a ballroom competition
Meanwhile, former Dancing With The Stars professional, Curtis, will be entering the boxing ring. The gloves are off and he’ll be doing the rounds with a boxing coach – and have a little bit of help and guidance from world champ, Ricky Hatton – to get him ready for the fight of his life.
Their Love Island girlfriends, Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins, will be supporting the boys as they discuss the trials and tribulations of learning a new skill that is so far out of their comfort zone.
The Boxer & The Ballroom Dancer will air from Monday, December 16 at 9PM on ITV2.
Curtis said: “I am so excited to have my own show coming on ITV2 with my best mate Tommy. It is a dream come true. I am so up for the challenge and cannot wait to get in that boxing ring.
“I have been training with the best of the best and am looking forward to showing everyone my boxing ability!”
Tommy added: “I am loving taking on the challenge of swapping my boxing gloves for dancing shoes and to do it all alongside my mate, Curtis, has been amazing.
“I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working so hard for!”
It follows news that Tommy’s family would be getting their own show.
ITV previously announced new series Meet The Furys, following boxer Tommy, his brother Tyson Fury and the rest of their relatives.
The exclusive, behind-the-scenes show will follow the larger than life family, giving viewers an unprecedented insight into the life of one of the most fascinating and controversial figures in British sport.
Meet The Furys will focus on Tyson as he fulfils his childhood dream of defending his heavyweight boxing lineal championship in Las Vegas and prepares to take on his arch-rival Deontay Wilder for a second time.
ITV said: “The series combines a warm and at times emotional family saga with raw and unflinching scenes of Tyson preparing for the fight against German Tom Schwarz and September’s Otto Wallin bout to reveal the most complete and intimate portrait of the Gypsy King ever seen.”
