Are Love Island 2017 couple Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt still together?
While winners Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay are over, last year’s runners up are still going strong.
And almost a year on from meeting on the show, Camilla has been gushing about their time together.
“I was at home this weekend and my mum reminded me that it was today last year that I left for Love Island,” she wrote on Instagram this week.
Sharing a picture of herself and Jamie, she continued: “There were ups and downs on that journey, and there have occasionally been tricky times since, but that is true of any decision or path you take in life.
“However, what is certainly true is that I am immeasurably happier, and so unbelievably lucky to have been involved in the show.”
“Wishing so much luck and success to everyone involved this year, and forever sending thanks to the lovely team who make it all possible – it is no exaggeration to say you changed my life for the better.”
Unlike most of the Love Island couples, Camilla and Jamie have kept themselves out of the spotlight.
Speaking last year, Jamie revealed he and Camilla recently spent time in a refugee camp in Greece and had barely been apart since Love Island ended.
Jamie said of the trip: “It has come out that I have just followed Camilla’s lead but that isn’t the case.
“I didn’t have the contacts for it and I can thank her for that one but it is something I have wanted to do for a long time.
“Meeting Camilla gave me the chance to make my plans a reality.”
Jamie and Camilla are now the only one of last year’s final couples together. Alongside winners Kem and Amber, Olivia & Chris and Gabby & Marcel have also both split.
Love island will return in the summer of 2018 on ITV2 for a fourth series.
