Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan have revealed they used a secret language to communicate on Love Island.
The couple finished fifth on this year’s series last month, just missing out on a place in the final.
Now out of the villa, they’ve been spilling secrets that we didn’t see on screen.
Appearing on Heat podcast Under The Covers, the pair shared how they created their own language to talk about the outside world.
And according to Belle, there was only one thing Anton wanted to know about – the amount of followers he had on social media.
Belle explained (via the Daily Mail): “Anton taught me our own language to try and get it out of me. And I kept saying to him, ‘If you keep asking me about your follows I’m going to have to move out.'”
Anton added: “Everyone was so obsessed with it. All of us are always on our social media and when it’s taken away from you you’re curious about what’s going on.”
The pair also spilled how producers would bring Islanders McDonald’s and met demands from contestants including Ovie’s request for a basketball and Maura asking for cigarettes.
It was Greg O’Shea & Amber Gill who won love Island 2019 last week beating Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague into second place. Ovie Soko & India Reynolds finished third with Curtis Pritchard & Maura Higgins fourth in the live final.
The pair went on to play for the £50,000 which was initially won by Greg. He had the option to steal or share the prize money, opting to split it with Amber.
The Love Island voting figures showed that Greg & Amber won the show with a massive 49% of the vote in the live final.
Love Island will be back in January 2020 for what will be its first ever winter series taking place in a new villa in Cape Town, South Africa.
Caroline Flack will host with Iain Stirling returning as narrator.
The new winter Love Island will be followed by the usual summer season next year.
