The reality star says she’d “love” to take part in the BBC One series, after boyfriend Kem Cetinay joined Dancing On ice.

The pair won Love Island’s third series earlier this year and remain together.

“I would love to do Strictly,” Amber told OK! magazine this week.

Saying she’d prefer the series to Dancing On Ice, Amber added: “I just love the thought of all the work that goes into it, and Dancing On Ice is more dangerous.”

Meanwhile, she tipped partner Kem to do well when Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in the new year – but not because of his skills.

“I think what will get him through is his performance quality. He’ll take the characters on and just be hilarious,” she said.

Kem has been struggling in training for the show, which is expected to return to TV in January.

“I was really down the first month because I was so behind everyone else,” he revealed this month. “My trainer said I was the least natural out of everyone on the show this year.

“All the other contestants have been coming down and watching me and saying they are better than me, too.

“But in the last week, I feel I have turned a corner because I have had the training penguin taken away from me and put in the staff room.”

Kem, who won Love Island 2017 with partner Amber Davies, said of signing up for the show this month: “I still can’t believe I’m going to be on Dancing on Ice!

“Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d be strapping on a pair of skates and dancing in some lycra.

“Anyone who knows me will know how competitive I am, so I’m going to work very hard to stay on my feet! I can’t wait to get my skates on.”

The brand new series of Dancing On Ice is expected to return to ITV in January, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.
