The first two series of Love Island are coming to Netflix for the summer.
Love Island’s original 2015 revival and the 2016 follow up will be available to stream on Netflix UK from May 1.
Love Island – which originally first made its debut in 2005 as a celebrity series on ITV – has proved a huge hit for ITV2 since its comeback.
The first series was won by Jessica Hayes and Max Morley, who are no longer together. 2016’s run was won by Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey who are not only still a couple but have since welcomed a baby boy.
Unfortunately Love Island’s third series from last summer – which was won by Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay – is not yet available.
The new comes after ITV dropped a first teaser for this year’s fourth season, which is expected to begin in June.
Reports have suggested that series four will last for eight weeks, seven days longer than last year’s record-breaking run.
Meanwhile, other rumours have claimed that producers are said to be planning an epic new twist to start the series.
An insider told The Sun newspaper previously: “They’re planning on the season opener beginning with two big villas – just like they introduced midway through last series.
“And they want to throw in nearly double the amount of contestants to really stir things up.
“Planning is still in the early stages but what is for sure is that it’s going to be bigger than ever.”
One thing is for sure, it’s going to be a long, hot summer…
Love Island airs on ITV2.
