The Love Island 2018 cast this summer could include some familiar faces.
Rumour has it show bosses are lining up some of last year’s cast to make a comeback.
Given all but one couple from the 2017 run has split, there’s many names to choose from.
The Sun reports that the likes of winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies plus runners up Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes and Marcel Sommerville and Gaby Allen may well make a return.
“There have been lots of meetings and ideas are being banded around to see what they could do to make this year more exciting,” an insider said. “There has been talk of bringing back some of the old cast for double dates with the new stars.
“Given how popular most of the cast were in the last series, it could be an amazing move. And it would be really popular with fans.”
Meanwhile, the cast of new faces is said to include a whopping 45 singletons on standby.
“They can replace people or be brought in to mix things up,” a source teased. “The record number of applicants means they’ve got this huge pool of talent to use.
Love Island 2018 will air this summer and is the fourth series of the hit ITV2 dating show.
Caroline Flack will be back hosting, as a new set of islanders descend upon the Mallorca villa in pursuit of love.
Alongside Caroline, Iain Stirling returns as narrator.
As for exactly when Love Island starts, ITV hasn’t confirmed that officially just yet.
But based on past years – and teasers from Caroline – Monday June 4 could be a possible start date for Love Island 2018.
