Love Island girls ‘competing for spot on I’m A Celebrity line up’

A number of recent Love Island contestants are reportedly competing for a spot on the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here line up.

Olivia Attwood, Gabby Allen and Camilla Thurlow all from the most recent series are said to be considered as potential celebrity campers this year.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “All three of the girls would love to appear on the show, and they would definitely add some glamour to the camp.

“The question is – who will finish on top?”

The news follows claims that I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is said to be considering inviting reality stars back to the show.

Last year’s series reportedly have an unofficial ‘no reality stars’ rule which meant the likes of cast from TOWIE, Made In Chelsea, Geordie Shore and Love Island could not take part.

Producers were said to have wanted more ‘credible’ names following previous casts, like 2015’s line up which saw Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison, TOWIE’s Fearn McCann and X Factor’s George Shelley in the final.

However The Sun now says that such names may well be invited to take part again for the 2017 run.

“The show got a real ribbing for the amount of airtime Vicky and Ferne received in 2015,” a source said.

They went on: “Both were great but there was a feeling some of the older contestants weren’t getting a chance to impress.

“But reality stars create more social media buzz and also attract younger viewers.”

Alongside possible Love Island contestants, other names linked to I’m A Celeb this year include The Saturdays’ singer Vanessa White, Made In Chelsea’s Louise Thompson, reality star Gemma Collins and Tattoo Fixers star Paisley Billings.
