Love Island winners Greg O’Shea & Amber Gill say they’re now officially dating after winning the ITV2 series.
It was Greg & Amber who won love Island 2019 on Monday night beating Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague Ovie Soko & India Reynolds and Curtis Pritchard & Maura Higgins in the live final.
Greg and Amber had only been together 12 days when they were declared victorious, beating out favourites and the show’s only official couple, Tommy & Molly-Mae.
Following their exit, Amber and Greg say they’re no exclusive.
Confirming they were now official in an interview with the Daily Mail newspaper, Greg said: “Yeah, definitely. We’re both quite loyal and we’re really into each other at the moment, even though it’s early stages, so definitely we’re only seeing each other.”
The pair also spoke about their plans for the prize money, each walking away with £25,000.
Greg said: “[I’m going to buy] a little treat here and there and probably invest the rest. I know that sounds boring, but that’s probably the smartest thing to do.”
Amber added: “I’ll probably get one designer item and then save the rest.”
Meanwhile, Amber spoke about her relationship with Michael Griffiths during her time in the villa.
Amber chose to couple up with Greg instead of rekindling her romance with Michael after he dumped her in the Casa Amor twist.
Speaking about all the drama, Amber said: “I don’t think I would have won with Michael because people would have felt that I was stupid to go back to him after everything.
“The only time I thought about quitting the show was after I returned from Casa Amor and saw Michael standing with Joanna.”
All of this year’s Love Islanders will reunite for one last time on Sunday night for this year’s reunion show.
Love Island: The Reunion airs on Sunday, August 4 at 9PM on ITV2.
It’ll then be a good few months before the show returns – but we don’t have to wait until next summer.
Instead, a new winter series will air in January, coming from a new villa in Cape Town, South Africa.
