Love Island 2019’s voting figures show Greg & Amber won with 50% of the vote

Greg O’Shea & Amber Gill won Love Island 2019 with 50% of the vote, the final voting percentages revealed.

It was Greg & Amber who won love Island 2019 last Monday night beating Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague into second place. Ovie Soko & India Reynolds finished third with Curtis Pritchard & Maura Higgins fourth in the live final.

The final Love Island 2019 voting percentages and results have now been unveiled by ITV, detailing exactly how the vote went.

The figures reveal that Greg & Amber won the show with a massive 49% of the vote in the live final, with Tommy and Molly-Mae receiving just over 26% as runners up.

Although it was a big gap, it was a lot less than last year where Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham won with almost 80% of the vote.

In third place in 2019’s final, Ovie & India had 18% of the vote while Maura and Curtis had 7% in fourth place.

1st Place Greg and Amber – 48.82%

2nd Place Tommy and Molly-Mae – 25.56%

3rd Place Ovie and India – 18.21%

4th Place Curtis and Maura – 7.4%

Original Islander Amber was first coupled with Callum and then Anton, but with little romantic attraction. She then coupled up with Michael but he dumped her during the Casa Amor twist.

After spending time coupled up with Ovie as friends, Amber coupled up with new guy Greg who joined the villa on Day 44.

Despite being together for just 12 days, as the winning couple, the pair got to play for the £50,000 prize fund. Caroline revealed two sealed envelopes, explaining that one had £0 inside and the other the full £50,000.

Amber & Greg then each had to select an envelope, with Amber ending up with £0 and Greg the entire £50,000 prize.

Caroline put Greg to the test as he was told he could either keep the £50,000 for himself or share it half and half with Amber.

“Of course I’m going to share it with her” said Greg without hesitation.

As a result, Amber & Greg each left the villa with £25,000.

Love Island will return for a sixth AND seventh series in 2020, with a new winter series in January joining the usual summer run.

Before then, a special reunion show will air TONIGHT, August 4 at 9PM.
