One couple was dumped from the villa in Sunday’s Love Island 2019 results just a day before the final.
Five couples were left in the running for the £50,000 prize money at the start of last night’s episode.
They were Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague, Ovie Soko & India Reynolds, Greg O’Shea & Amber Gill, Curtis Pritchard & Maura Higgins and Anton Danyluk & Belle Hassan.
However only four of them have made it to the final on Monday with one pair getting the axe with just a day to go.
It was Anton and Belle who left Love Island 2019 in last night’s results.
In Friday’s show, the Islanders were vested with a tough decision, as each couple had to choose one other couple to dump from the Island.
The Islanders deliberated privately in their couples about their decision before casting their vote in secret by text.
Here’s how the votes from the couples went…
Curtis & Maura voted for Ovie & India.
Ovie & India voted for Curtis & Maura.
Tommy & Molly-Mae voted for Anton & Belle.
Anton & Belle voted for Ovie & India.
Greg & Amber voted for Curtis & Maura.
With no votes, Tommy & Molly-Mae and Greg & Amber were safe and into the Love Island 2019 final.
The remaining trio – Ovie & India, Anton & Belle and Curtis & Maura – were put up for a public vote.
Tonight, host Caroline Flack made her entrance and asked all the Islanders to gather at the fire pit. She revealed that the Islander votes have put three couples at risk, meaning two couples were safe and through to the Love Island Final.
It was then revealed that Amber & Greg and Molly-Mae & Tommy were safe and would not be leaving the Island tonight.
But that left Anton & Belle, India & Ovie and Curtis & Maura vulnerable.
Caroline then told the Islanders that the public have been voting to save their favourite couple, and that the couple with the fewest votes would be dumped from the Island.
With the fewest votes, the villa said goodbye to Anton & Belle.
Speaking after her exit, Belle said: “I’d sum it up by saying it was absolute madness. It had its highs and lows but it was amazing. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to do it.”
“My time in the villa has been mixed emotions,” said Anton. “When Belle came in she changed my Friend Island experience into a Love Island experience. We clicked the minute we met, instantly attracted. Definitely a romantic and sexual attraction, and we’re good friends too.
“We’ve had our ups and downs but we’ve come out of the other side strong and I can’t wait to see where it goes on the outside.”
Love Island continues nightly on ITV2.
The final takes place this evening from 9PM on Monday, July 29.
