Love Island 2019 results! Who left? One islander dumped after shock twist

Love Island results - recap what happened on Love Island tonight (July 15)

A shock twist has seen one Islander leave the villa in tonight’s Love Island 2019 results.

A total of six Islanders left over the past week, starting with a double couple dumping that saw Lucie & George and Danny & Jourdan leave the villa.

Amy Hart then quit before a further elimination saw Marvin Brooks packing his bags.

This evening saw one more Islander dumped from the villa and it was Joanna Chimonides who left Love Island tonight.

In last night’s episode (Sunday, July 14) Caroline Flack dropped in to surprise the remaining islanders. She interrupted a party and announced to the group: “I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’m here. I have got some very important news for you…

“The public have been voting for their favourite couple. The Islanders in the bottom two couples risk being dumped.”

Although not everyone was romantically together, the couples involved in the vote were Joanna Chimonides & Michael Griffiths, Anna Vakili & Jordan Hames, Molly-Mae Hague & Tommy Fury, Belle Hassan & Anton Danyluk and Amber Gill & Ovie Soko.

Couples Maura & Chris and Francesca & Curtis were immune from the elimination due to Chris & Francesca being new to the villa.

Host Caroline announced the bottom two couples in the public vote as Joanna Chimonides & Michael Griffiths and Anna Vakili & Jordan Hames.

Caroline then revealed that the other islanders had to decide which of the two couples to save.

Maura & Chris voted to save Anna & Jordan.

Belle & Anton voted to save Joanna & Michael.

Amber & Ovie voted to save Anna & Jordan.

Francesca & Curtis voted to save Joanna & Michael.

Molly-Mae & Tommy voted to save Anna & Jordan.

Therefore, Anna & Jordan were saved and it was Joanna & Michael who found themselves in danger.

Caroline then dropped one last bombshell, announcing: “Joanna and Michael, you’ve not been saved by either the public or your fellow Islanders. You cannot stay on Love Island as a couple. One of you must leave the villa.”

It was again up to the other Islanders to decide who to save, and they picked Michel.

Therefore Joanna was eliminated from the villa and left the show.

Love Island 2019 continues nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.

Love Island’s grand finale has been confirmed for Monday, July 29.
