Love Island will return to ITV2 in the summer of 2019 for a fifth season, and applications are now open.
After the success of last year’s run – achieving record breaking viewing figures – another series was always going to happen.
Now it’s confirmed and applications are officially open.
ITV ask: “How do you fancy enjoying your very own long hot summer of romance? Love Island will be back for summer 2019 and we’re now on the look out for lively singles from across the country to take part.
“Once again our Islanders will take up residence in a spectacular luxury villa in the hope of finding love. But to stay on the island, they need to couple up – and more importantly – win the hearts of the public.”
In order to apply, you need to be at least 18, have valid travel documents and be free to enjoy a long hot summer later this year.
To apply, visit the official ITV2 website HERE.
The Love Island 2019 application requires a short 1 minute video, saying why you’d make a great Islander. You also need to upload at least two photos, including a headshot and full length picture.
After eight weeks of recouplings, dumpings and doing bits, last year’s show saw four couples make it to the final.
Wes and Megan, Jack and Dani, Paul and Laura and Josh and Kaz found themselves battling it out to take home the crown for 2018.
After the public voted, Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer walked away as series winners.
They’ve gone on to get their very own TV show. Their spin off show Jack & Dani: Life After Love Island starts on ITVBe next week from Monday, January 7.
Meanwhile, Love Island 2019 will launch on ITV2 in the summer. The series typically begins at the start of June and finishes at the end of July.
