Love Island 2018 results! Who left? One girl is out after first recoupling

One girl has left the Love Island 2018 villa in tonight’s results.

Less than a week after the launch, one Islander left the villa this evening.

In tonight’s show, as the Islanders relaxed in the garden, Samira received a text: “Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling.

“The boys will choose and the girl not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the island. #getpickedorgetpacking #layitonthick ”

The news immediately sent shock waves around the villa, with most of the girls resolute that they will need to fight to keep their place.

After the recoupling, it was Kendall Rae-Knight who was sent home.

Adam Collard and Rosie Williams

As the remaining single girl, Kendall was sent home.

Speaking after her exit, Kendall said: “I am a little bit gutted to be the first one out. I won’t lie, it’s not nice being the first one out, but I do feel positive that I did everything I wanted to do, and I stood my ground, and I have no regrets about what I did.”

She added: “There’s nothing I would do differently. There were times when the girls were saying ‘if Adam’s into Rosie, why don’t you try getting with Eyal’ but I was like ‘no, I’m not going to fake something to save myself.’

“I was in there to find somebody that I was into, not in there just to stay until the end to play the game. I stuck to my guns.”

If it was the girls with the power, Kendall said: “I would have chosen Adam, definitely. I think we had the most connection. We were both attracted to each other.

“If I saw him on the outside, of course I would say hello and be polite, he hasn’t done anything wrong other than going with his gut and choosing Rosie. He was definitely my type though, had I seen him in a bar on the outside world, he was someone I would have gone for.”

Love Island 2018 continues Saturday night on ITV2 with a first week highlights show.

The series returns with a new episode at 9PM on Sunday, followed by spin-off show Aftersun.

Kendall will appear on Love Island: Aftersun on Sunday 10th June at 10pm on ITV2
