Latest Love Island 2018 news, spoilers and results - who left?

One couple has been given the boot from Love Island 2018 in tonight’s results.

Last Friday saw the latest recoupling, with the women enjoying the power.

The boys stood in front of the fire pit, awaiting their fate. One by one, the girls chose who they wanted to couple up with.

The couples in the villa at the start of tonight’s show were Kaz & Josh, Megan & Wes, Ellie & Charlie, Laura & Jack, Dani & Jack, Georgia & Sam, and Alexandra & Alex.

After a public vote, Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake were given the boot this evening.

In tonight’s show, Georgia got a text: “Islanders, it’s time to get up and go as you will be spending the day at the Island Beach Club! Please get ready to leave the villa. #VillaOnTour #GoHardOrGoHome”

The Islanders were all very excited to be heading out to the Island Beach Club. They enjoyed drinks and a party before an unexpected arrival…

Caroline Flack jetted towards the Island Beach Club on a boat, much to the surprise of the Islanders.

Entering the Island Beach Club, she declared: “Hello Islanders, sorry to interrupt the party. Can you all line up by the pool please.”

She continued: “I am sure you’re all wondering why I’m here. I’ve got some very important news. The public have been voting for their favourite couple. The Islanders in the bottom three couples risk being dumped from the Island today. Those dumped from the Island will leave immediately and not return to the villa.”

Caroline announced the bottom three couples, as voted for by the public were Ellie & Charlie, Megan & Wes and Georgia & Sam.

She then said: “I can now reveal the couple with the fewest votes and therefore dumped from the Island is… Charlie & Ellie.”

Reacting to their eviction, Ellie said: “It is bitter sweet. I have left with a boyfriend who I really like and we had an amazing time and made amazing memories in the villa. But it was very hard leaving the people that I’ve made such close friends with.”

Charlie added: “You never want to leave the villa but at the same time, I went in to find love and a girlfriend and I have. I was disappointed but also, I did feel ready to leave.”

Discussing their future together, Ellie said: “When you go into Love Island, you do go in and you obviously want to leave with somebody.

“For it to actually happen is another thing. It’s mad coming out with somebody who you actually like and you actually have a connection with and who you are in a relationship with.

“It almost seems too good to be true. We haven’t even been on a date yet! So the first thing we need to do is go on a date. I feel amazing about it.”

Love Island 2018 continues nightly on ITV2.
